We are currently seeking a dedicated, quality-focused COBRA Generalist to join our team full-time!

The Position:​

  • Contribute to success. You'll work five days per week, in a prime location just east of Downtown and near City Park. Opportunity for telecommuting schedule available based on proficiency, ability to work independently, completion of all training courses and six to twelve months of service. 
  • Be the backbone, by supporting the Client Services team through performing daily notifications audit, outgoing mail (COBRA-related notifications), and postmarking.  Assist with office mailroom inventory (paper, envelopes, toner, postage)  
  • Show us the money...by reviewing and posting participant premium payments (paper check, money orders, credit card payments into COBRA payment database).
  • Keep the communication going by assembling and sending annual benefits enrollment kits to qualified beneficiaries.
  • Be the face of CobraHelp to qualified beneficiaries such as COBRA members, retirees, and leave of absence employees by aiding them with their most common questions. 
  • Create flawless execution by anyone, anytime by conducting routine audit of system work to ensure quality. 
  • Be the Wing Person by providing support to the Account Manager staff in a team oriented environment through participant communications (calls and emails) and by processing incoming eligibility (elections) each day. 
  • Be part of a dream team  where team members must wear multiple hats, especially during seasonal workload influx and always have each other's backs. 
  • Become a guru by gaining knowledge in COBRA administration, state continuation, retiree benefits, leave management and more.
THIS COULD BE YOU IF YOU...

  • Have an Associates Degree or equivalent, or at least four years of office administrative work experience required in financial, insurance, HR, or related fields. Must have three years customer service experience in a non-call center environment. Or, at least four years heavy administrative support experience.
  • Have experience working in a small business setting, with multiple responsibilities. 
  • Have at least two years of heavy data entry skills.
  • Have direct experience with accounts receivable related duties and mail/general office duties strongly preferred.
  • Have Direct experience with COBRA benefits, insurance, or employee benefits.
  • Have Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Are 100% dedicated to being a team player.
  • Are not intimidated by last-minute changes in legislation, processes, and programs. 
  • Enjoy the challenges of benefits administration in an ever changing landscape.
  • Enjoy helping people with their benefits related problems. 
  • Are totally comfortable being flexible, have a great attitude,  are always on time, and cooperate with others. 
  • Are confident in your ability to deliver ACCURATE results and daily work. 
  • Like the challenge of problem solving and possess the analytical skills necessary to create solutions. 
  • Have experience with quality assurance (attention to detail a must).
  • Have relevant Certificates or Licenses of relevant training.
